An Interview with Stefan Romania

Joining us here today for another facinating interview here with me, Seth, is..Stefan Romania!

So, Stefan, when and where were you changed into a vampire?

During the 10year wait at the Battle of Troy, by my brother Vladimir.

Can you remember anything from your human life?

I can vaguely remember my wife, who I left behind when we were taken to go fight to take over the Trojans.

Why did you make humans aware that you were a vampire?

Why? Why would we want to hide our existance. We were put here on this earth, I never believed that hiding away was the answer. We can all co-exist.

When did you meet your brother Vladimir?

I met Vladimir on the day our legions beached near the Trojan Empire, we fought side by side. Eventually became the closest of friends.

Have you ever thought that you found your soul mate in your existence?

Once only. Arielle, but sadly she passed on due to me refusing to change her. If I do ever find another, I hope my love would be stronger than what it was for her.

Would you ever consider trying the ‘vegetarian’ diet some vampires follow?

And dare to be weakened? No.

Quick fire questions!

What is your most valuable possession?

My first ever yoyo, I used to kill Jack the Ripper.

What could you not live without?

My brother.

*smiles* Well, that's all the time we have for today Stefan. Thank you so very much for being with us today.

Just Ask Ali:

Q:
Ali (my bestest friend),My question is:
What shades of make-up is the best for a school day?
Love,
Britts

A:
Brittany that is a great question! A stylish school look is clean, fresh, glowing and natural. Enhancing your features and beauty. Here are my must have tips for the perfect fresh-faced school look!

Love,
Alice xoxo

School Savvy Makeup:

Step One: Complexion
If you need to cover any dark circles or blemishes use a concealer and then pressed powder over top to set it. That`s only if you need it.

Step Two: Define
Apply a very thin line of brown eyeliner on the top and bottom. Then use a Q-tip or smudger to smudge the line and make it look softer, and not so harsh. Then curl lashes and do two coats of mascara.

Step Three: Contour
Apply a bronzer with a pinch of shine to the pigment as a blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend with a brush. You`ll want a subtle glow that almost looks like you aren`t wearing blush.

Step Four: Perfect Pout
After that do a clear or light nude lipgloss.

Enjoy your naturally glowing look!

Just Ask Ali! Responding to questions you want to know about fashion, style and beauty. This month learn all about homemade masks to keep your skin polished and smooth.

Q: Dear Ali,
What is the best face mask to use? I have Sea Kelp & Mineral or Tea Tree and Witch Hazel. Help!

Seth

A: Oh Seth, your skin always looks amazing! Sea Kelp and MIneral detoxify the pore and get all the build up out while Tea Tree and Witch Hazel are anti-bacterial so it looks like you are on the right path if your skin is combination/oily and you can break out once in a while. Keep looking fabulous Seth!

Love,
Ali xoxo

So Seth's question inspires our Style File this month! Here are some recipes for at home masks you can do based on your skin type!

OILY SKIN/BLEMISH PRONE SKIN:
-Blend 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1 egg white, 1 tsp of honey (heat in microwave just to melt together). Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse.
The lemon juice helps to exfoliate and brighten the skin, the egg white will help to draw out access oil and the honey will help to smooth and balance your skin!

-If you are Blemish Prone, after masking with the prior mask. Apply a thin layer of milk of magnesia to the effected areas, leave on for 20 min then rinse.

NORMAL SKIN:
-Mix 1 egg white, 1/2 cup of cooked oatmeal. Leave on 20 minutes then rinse.
This will keep your skin balanced and fresh.

DRY SKIN:
-Mix 1/2 of an avocado with 1/4 cup of honey. Leave on 20 minutes then rinse.
Avocados are a great source of omega fatty acids that dry skin is depleted in, honey will balance and rehydrate.

ALL SKIN TYPES:
-To Smooth skin: Warm honey to melt in the microwave, apply and leave on for 20 min. Rinse. Easy!
-To freshen: Apply a layer of plain yogurt to the skin, leave on for 20 min then rinse. Easy!

Enjoy your at home spa! If you have any questions on Style or Beauty visit me at my Fashionista group to ask me a question. You never know, you may be the next topic for Style File!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!
By C.R.Jack

Last evening marked another notch in this year's baseball season. The Cullen family squared off with Team Motley crew, with Esme and Carlisle welcoming the fans to the game. For Team Motley Crew we had Sulpicia, Garrett, Katie, Zafrina, and Peter. The Cullen Family consisted of Alice, Esme, Rosalie, and Emmett. The team representatives met on the pitchers mound, as Carlisle initiated the coin toss; Sulpicia calling heads for Team Motley Crew, Alice standing by as she saw the call play out in her visions. Team Motley Crew won the coin toss, heading to bat, with the Cullens swiftly taking the field.
First up to bat for team Motley Crew was Peter Nomad, hitting a groundball towards Emmett, and heading in safely to first base. Alice stood confidently on the pitchers mound as Sulpicia gracefully made her way to home plate, preparing for the pitch. A fastball careened out of Alice’s hands, landing straight in Esme’s glove for a strike. Sulpicia tightened her grip on the bat, and as the next pitch was thrown, Sulpicia connected with the ball, sending it along the ground to Rosalie, as she tagged first base for the teams first out of the game. Peter took the opportunity to slide into second base, staying there successfully. Next up to face Alice and the Cullens was Garrett Denali, who cracked the ball into the tree line. Emmett raced in search of the ball to no avail; Garrett scoring a home run and also bringing Peter into home plate. Following suit, Kate Denali stepped up to bat, gaining two strikes, but the third pitch giving her a single run to first base. Alice stepped back, putting a little spin on the ball, causing a foul and a strike from Zafrina Amazon. Third time was a charm for Zafrina, as she hit a double, sending herself to second, and Kate to third base. Rosalie tossed the ball back to Alice, who prepared her next pitch to Peter, for his second at bat. A curveball resulted in a pop foul which was caught by Esme, leading to the teams second out. Sulpicia returned to the plate for Team Motley crew, and as Alice threw out the pitch, she gasped seeing the balls trajectory in her vision.Carlisle shouted from the field, but it was too late; the ball hitting Sulpicia in the shoulder, causing an automatic walk to first base. At the same time, Kate made a move for home plate, crossing over it for the teams third score. With Sulpicia at first, and Zafrina on second, the Cullens were struggling to keep Motley Crew at bay as Garrett stepped up to bat. Alice smirked to the crowd, her visions showing that she would indeed strike Garrett out, causing the inning to be over for Team Motley Crew.

Carlisle updated the crowd, the score being Motley Crew 3, Cullens 0. First up to bat for the Cullens was Alice, smiling to Sulpicia as she stepped up to bat; the double run fresh in her mind with her visions on her side. Alice made it safely into second base without any trouble, leading Emmett to bat. Sulpicia threw out a fastball, resulting in two strikes and a single to first base for Emmett. Zafrina quickly threw the ball back to Sulpicia, as she turned to face Esme at the plate. A curveball later, Esme smacked the ball into the outfield for a home run, sending Alice, Emmett, and herself across the home plate; leaving the score tied at 3-3. Rosalie was next to bat, hitting a ground ball towards Kate, making it safely into second base. Before anyone else was able to return to the plate, Alice jumped up asking all participants to stop playing immediately. The players turned their attention to Alice, hearing her speak of unknown vampires in the area. The crowd was ushered back to the Cullens house, as the Volturi departed the game of their own accord. Both teams exited the field, keeping careful watch over the humans as they traveled.

With the game tied, Carlisle announced a rematch scheduled for next week, March 3rd at 4pm FT. All in all, it was another excellent game of baseball with Esme being the MVP of the game.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!
By: C.R Jack

The weather was just right for the latest baseball game. Team Cullen were looking to manifest a win, while taking on the undefeated Team Motley Crew. Carlisle addressed the crowd, announcing the line up for this evenings’ game. Team Cullen consisted of Esme, Carlisle, Emmett, Rosalie and Bella. For Team Motley Crew we had Afton, Sulpicia, Peter, Liam, and Eleazar. The two teams took to the field, facing off in an epic struggle of superior strength, skill, and banter. The Cullen’s were up to the plate, with Bella taking the first swing, and starting the game off with a ground ball, scoring a double. Batter after batter tried their hardest to out maneuver Sulpicia, as she threw each pitch meticulously, and without hesitation. Emmett stepped up to the plate, cracking the bat as the ball flew into the tree line, sending him to third base, and bringing Bella home for the first run of the game. Next up, Esme hit a line drive towards Eleazar, sliding into second base, and Emmett dashing across home plate for the Cullens second run. Rosalie was next to bat, driving a single into the field, and skidding to a halt at first base, as Bella stepped up to bat for the second time. After a moment of banter back and forth between the two teams, Sulpicia pitched a perfect curveball to Bella, sending the ball careening back out towards the pitcher’s mound. The ball was easily caught by Sulpicia, causing the teams first out of the inning. Emmett was up for his second bat, connecting with the ball as it flew in a blur towards first base, readily caught by Afton of the Volturi. That quickly made two outs for the Cullen Team. Carlisle smiled as he weighed his bat, and strode out to the plate, winking at Sulpicia before sending a pop fly to the outfield, which was caught by Liam, as the team succumbed to their final out.

Walking off the field, with the score 2-0, in favor of the Cullens, the teams switched places, sending Esme to the pitchers mound. Team Motley Crew stood waiting for their chance to hold onto the title of champion. First up to bat for Team Motley Crew, was Afton, connecting with Esme’s pitch and sending the ball flying into the outfield for a double. As Eleazar took to the plate, emotions were running strong on both teams. Esme threw out the pitch, and a loud crack was heard by all, as the ball flew through the air; Both Emmett and Rosalie chasing after it with lightning speed. However, it was too late, and both Afton and Eleazar crossed home plate before the ball was reached. Eleazar achieving a home run, and evening up the score 2-2. With the score tied, and no outs for Team Motley Crew, it looked like the Cullens had their work cut out for them. Peter Nomad was next to bat, striking out three times, as Esme seemed to finally be on her game. Digging her feet into the mound, Esme prepared to face Liam as he stepped to the plate, hitting a line drive to first, tagging the base with ease. As Liam watched from first base, Sulpicia sent the ball soaring across the field, placing her on second, and Liam on third base. With runners on two bases, the Cullen Team were facing a struggle, as Afton stood waiting for the next pitch. A fastball was delivered, and as Afton took his swing, the ball was launched into the air. Esme jumped from her position, catching the ball for the teams’ second out. Next up was Eleazar again with a ground ball, as he made it safely into first base; Emmett chasing the ball effortlessly. Liam raced into home plate, scoring the teams third run, before returning to bat for the last time. Two strikes later, Liam hit a pop fly into the field, as Rosalie made the catch for Team Motley Crew’s final out of the game.

All in all, it was a riveting game on both sides, with Eleazar being announced as MVP. The final score Team Motley Crew - 3, Team Cullen - 2. Until next time, we’ll see you on the field.
